Obituary of Charmaine D. Kline
Mrs. Charmaine D. Kline, 74, of Marcy, passed away on Monday, March, 20, 2023 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford with her loving family by her side.
Charmaine was born in Utica, on June 12, 1948, the daughter of William O. and Alfreda (Welter) Dousharm. She was raised and educated in Utica, was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and Mohawk Valley Community College. On July 26, 1969, Charmaine was united in marriage with Robert N. Kline, at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica, a loving and devoted union of 32 years, until Robert's death in 2001. At one time, Charmaine was employed with General Electric Company in Utica, later with Critical Imaging in Utica and lastly with Indium Corporation. Charmaine's greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family and especially her cherished grandchildren. She was kind to all her knew her. Her laughter and sense of adventure was infectious. She will be truly missed. She was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Kline was predeceased by one daughter, Christina Niles of WV. Mrs. Kline is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Robert Corrigan of Marcy; son-in-law, Brian Niles of WV; three grandchildren, Lyndsey Niles, Jennifer Talkington and Bethann Niles; great grandchildren, Andrew Keenan and Kaylee Yeater, as well as several additional great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Isabel Dousharm of Marcy and Karen and Andrew Maben of Deerfield; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Wallace and Joyce Dousharm of Remsen, George and Madeline Dousharm of TX, Ronald Dousharm of Marcy and Michael Dousharm of Floyd, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by one sister and seven brothers.
In keeping with Charmaine's wishes, there is no visitation or services.
