Charolette Arnold Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Jan. 27, 2026.
Charolette Ann Arnold, 79, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at her home in Tell City.

Born in Bristow, Indiana, on April 16, 1946, Charolette was the daughter of the late Dolph and Geneva (Genet) Foster. She was a 1964 graduate of Dale High School.

She was united in marriage to Tom Arnold on September 19, 1964, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years, before his passing in 2025.

Charolette was in the real-estate business for over 50 years. She was the owner and operator of Century 21 Arnold and Associates, where she was known for helping others in the business-not only those who worked beside her, but many throughout the community. While she achieved great success during her career, her greatest achievement was her family. Charolette thoroughly enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events and simply being with her family.

She held a long-standing position on the PTABOA Board, appointed by the council and commissioners, and was a tremendous asset to Perry County. She knew real estate inside and out and was a true wealth of knowledge. Charolette was known by many and loved by all.

Survivors include her children, Todd (Cheryl) Arnold of Lamar, Brad (Sherrie) Arnold of Tell City, and Greg (Missy) Arnold of Tell City; sister, Carol Joos of Troy; brother, Maurice Foster of Tell City; seven beautiful grandchildren, Cody, Brenna, Eric, Brian, Trent, Mollie, Jenna; and eight adored great-grandchildren, Weston, Autumn, Ty, Layla, Brody, Brock, Harper, Tate, and 2 on the way.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, Charolette was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Foster and Dolph Foster, Jr.; and a sister, Merilyn Leinenbach.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, Friday, January 30, 2026, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Tony Hollowell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 2:00-7:00pm and Friday 8:30-9:30am at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to River's Edge Animal Shelter or St. Paul Catholic Church.
