Chase Philip Daniel Brown
December 2, 1993 – September 16, 2025
East Smithfield, Pennsylvania

"Beloved husband, father, son, and brother"

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Chase Philip Daniel Brown, who left this world unexpectedly on September 16, 2025, at his home in East Smithfield.

Born on December 2, 1993, to Daniel Brown and Beth Kobbe-Waluk, Chase was a kind, compassionate, loyal, and loving man whose presence brought joy to everyone who knew him. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

After graduating from Athens High School, Chase proudly served six years in the National Guard. He continued his education at Mansfield University, graduating in 2017. Hardworking from a young age, Chase began his career at 16 and was most recently employed at Kennedy Valve, where he built meaningful friendships and found pride in his work.

On August 30, 2021, Chase married his soulmate, Ashley Follett Brown. Together, they shared a once-in-a-lifetime love and built a beautiful family. Chase was a devoted husband and a proud, loving father to their two children, Skylynn Belle Brown (4) and Jace Aaron Daniel Brown (2). His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, creating cherished memories filled with laughter, adventure, and love.

Chase also shared a special bond with his parents and especially treasured time with his dad and "Momma." Chase was his mother's sunshine and her little man, forever and always. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending countless hours fishing, cutting wood, and hunting with his grandfather, Ira Brown, whom he deeply admired. He found happiness in life's simple pleasures-riding the 4-wheeler, jumping on the trampoline, and taking his children to the park.

Chase leaves behind his devoted wife, Ashley, and their beloved children, Skylynn and Jace; his father, Daniel Brown (Kathey Jo Brown); his mother, Beth Kobbe-Waluk (Brian Waluk); his father- and mother-in-law, Percy and Tammi Pelc-Talada; stepbrothers Clayton Robinson (Kara) and Brock Waluk (Courtney); his sister, Taylor Ludwig (Daniel); his grandfather, Ira Brown (Cindy Amerman); grandmother, Marilyn Waluk; grandparents Alan and Debra Pelc; aunts Lynda Brown (John) and Angie Kobbe; cousins Chasitie, Jessica, Cassandra; Uncle Mike Kobbe (Lori); cousins Michael, Caitlyn And Casie; his "God Brother" Cameron; "God Mother" Stephanie Heinz; sister-in-law Leah Hilton (Angilena); a niece, a nephew, a large extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Brandon and Matthew, grandfather Gene, grandmother Bonnie, stepbrother Beau, and Cousin Sydney.

A celebration of Chase's life will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor the life of a man who gave so much love to others. The family is under the care of Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
