Jerome (Jerry) Arthur Brown, 72, of Georgetown, TX passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025 after a long struggle with heart disease and diabetes. He was born July 4, 1953, in Cook County, Chicago. Jerry spent most of his life in Round Rock, Texas, where he built a life filled with family, laughter, and love.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Marie (Luft) Brown of Georgetown, TX; his children, Jerome Jr. and wife, Robin Brown of Point Venture, TX, with their children, Tyler and Addison; daughter, Christine and husband, Pete Robertson of Orlando, FL, with their children, Austin, and wife, Rachel, of Bend, OR, Breeana, and Faith and husband, Travis Evans and their daughter, Elora; and son Joseph and wife, Katherine Brown, of Hutto, TX, with their children, Joseph Logan and Spencerino. Jerry is also survived by his sisters, Bernadette Rieman of Wooster, OH, Eileen Breymeyer of Palm Springs, CA, and Kathleen Duggan of Dayton, OH; sister-in-law Darlene Brown of Riverview, FL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Jerry was raised in the Catholic faith, which remained a foundation in his life. A viewing of Jerry will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, September 23rd at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, Texas. Followed by a Requiem Mass at the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church at 2:00pm and the Rite of Committal at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery.

Jerry attended Loyola Academy High School in Wilmette, IL, where, through his future brother-in-law, he met Marie, the love of his life. Together, they shared 52 years of marriage filled with family, adventure, and joy. Jerry's passion was long drives on vacations with Marie and their three children. These times created countless memories across many of the states. Most adventures centered around camping, telling stories and games, this is where Jerry's humor shone through. One of the family's fondest memories was when stopped at a light next to a trailer of horses, Jerry let out a loud nay only to have all the horses answer back. Another favorite memory is Jerry convincing his children that the smoke rising from factories they passed were "cloud factories," a testament to his playful spirit and imaginative storytelling. To all, Jerry was such an unforgettable character. What he lacked in patience, he made up for in gratitude and loyalty.

Jerry had a passion for games of all kinds, whether cards or board games and loved the way they brought people together. He was an avid sports fan and athlete, enjoying bowling, playing softball, and coaching baseball for his two sons. Jerry's larger-than-life personality shone brightest when he made others laugh, a gift he shared generously with everyone around him.

Jerry's memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love of his family and friends.
