Chase Taylor McMichael, 26, passed away on July 29, 2023. He was born on June 11, 1997, in Kansas
City, MO to Tim and Stella (Hicks) McMichael. Chase was a veterinarian assistant and loved all animals as
well as every animal loved him. The most loved animal in Chase’s life had to be Macy, his German
Shepherd mix. He was a very good listener; he truly was a therapist for all of his friends and family. Chase
loved playing video games and played quite often. Chase was a very sweet person and so much fun to be
around. He was the youngest of four kids and truly the baby brother, always the one being sent to go ask
mom.
Chase is survived by his siblings Cierra McMichael, Samantha Dodge, and Sterling McMichael, and his
nephew Elliot. He passed just a few short days before his mother Stella Marie McMichael. He is preceded
in death by his dad Tim McMichael and cousin Robert Hicks Jr.
A visitation for Stella Marie and Chase will be held at First Baptist Church in Oak Grove, MO on Thursday August 10, 2023 from 5-7pm with a funeral service starting at 1pm on Friday August 11, 2023 . He will be buried with his mother at Shore Cemetery In Oak Grove, MO. There is a wake following burial from 4-7pm at Captain's Sports Lounge in Grain Valley, MO.
