Chase Michael Tyree

Chase Michael Tyree, 24, went to Heaven on September 19, 2024 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was born April 29, 2000 at Virginia Beach General Hospital, the beloved son of Carrie Greco Tyree and Steven Wayne Tyree.
Chase graduated from Penn Foster High School in 2017. After high school, he studied at Regent University and worked as a mechanic. While continuing to fix up cars in his spare time, he then worked at Newport News Shipyard as a welder. Chase valued his family and his Faith above all else - they were his life and his love. He will be remembered for his goofy smile, his welcoming humor, his kind heart, and his love for all creatures, big and small, furry and scaly, adored and abandoned.
Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents are his brother, Jacob, his grandmothers, Irene R. Greco and Kayren Diane Tyree, and his cousins, Ashley, Ivan, Haley, Casey, Kayla, Maddy, and Thomas. He will also be missed dearly by his aunts and uncles, Aunt Chris and Uncle Steve, Aunt Jennie and Uncle Carlos, Aunt Amy and Uncle Todd, and Aunt Michelle and Uncle Tom. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Michael Ascension Greco and Edgar Foley Tyree, and his great-grandparents Deanie Fowler and Charles "Grizzly" Fowler.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00am on September 27, 2024 at Kempsville Christian Church, 5424 Parliament Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
