Chase Christian Samuel Van Leeuwen, 30, was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia on August 23, 1993. Chase was raised in Grove City, Pennsylvania and resided in Asheville, North Carolina where his life was taken unexpectedly on December 22, 2023.
Chase is survived by his grandfather Samuel E. McClimans, his parents Tami and Dean Van Leeuwen, his sister Summer Van Leeuwen, and his nephew Anthony Young. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Kathleen L. Zook and Oma Roos Van Leeuwen.
Chase was a passionate and talented artist, certified audio engineer, and producer that graduated from SAE Atlanta Institute. The love, care, and devotion that he had for all music and his family was well known by all who knew Chase. He enjoyed playing all instruments, visiting coffee shops, skateboarding, spending time in nature, and traveling. Chase was truly a child at heart that loved to joke around and see everyone smile. He had a sense of humor and personality that would brighten up any room. He believed in showing everyone tenderness and compassion without any judgement, but he was also protective of the ones he loved. He lived each moment with pure intentions and would never back down in a difficult situation. The memories with Chase are deeply cherished as he will be profoundly missed by his family and loved ones.
A celebration of Chase's life will be held for all loved ones to attend on February 10th from 2-6pm at the Grove City Masonic Temple located at 1340 W Main St, Grove City, PA 16127. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Chase Van Leeuwen funeral expenses
