Chastidy Herrod Obituary
Chastidy attended elementary school in Iowa, but she would later graduate high school in Lebanon, Tennessee as part of the class of 2007. She lived in many places during her life, including Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kansas and Colorado.
She was a proud veteran, serving as an army mechanic. She was also proud that she had completed school for HVAC. She was currently going to school to become a barber. Most of all though, she was proud of her sons and their achievements.
Chastidy loved basketball. She was a big fan of OU and the Bronchos. She enjoyed playing video games and shopping.
Chastidy was always the life of the party. Always laughing, and getting others to laugh with her. She was kind and generous, always going out of her way to help a stranger. She was funny, and wanted everyone around her to have a good time. She took pride in everything she did. Chastidy was just a good person.
Chastidy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mackilee and Melven Samilton; 3 uncles, Kirt Herrod, Mitch Samilton, and Joe Samilton; as well as 2 aunts, Janice Hubbard and Clarissa Hart.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Tenica McKenzie and Trey McKenzie; her father, Steve Samilton; her spouse, Kimberly Herndon; her sons DaRyus Herrod and BaKari Herrod; 4 sisters, Kamill Herrod; TreSeana McKenzie, Sydnee Samilton, and Destiny Coleman; 2 brothers, Trey Tuggle and Teven Wright; grandparents, Darlene Gilbreath and Jonathan Herrod; a niece Caydence McFadden; a nephew, Jimmy Hill Jr., as well as many aunts, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation for Chastidy Herrod will be held from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13.
Funeral Services for Chastidy Herrod will be held on Sunday, December 14, at 11:00 AM at the Kialegee Tribal Town Family Life Center in Wetumka, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.
