Deborah Broomhall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home - Wetumka on Mar. 12, 2026.
Deborah Jean Broomhall was born December 5, 1955, to Carl Edward Simmons and Delores Marie (Wade) Simmons and passed from this life on March 9, 2026, at her home near Wetumka at the age of 70.

Deborah was raised in Tulsa and on August 25, 1972, she married Jimmy William Broomhall. They made their home in Wetumka where they operated a fruit and vegetable stand on highway 9 east of town. They relocated to Tulsa and lived in surrounding areas before returning to Wetumka in the early 1980s. Deborah had worked as a home health provider but most of her working life was working on pipelines with her husband.

She loved to attract birds and watch them through her big picture window. She also enjoyed going to garage sales where she was sure she would find treasures she could give to her family and friends.

Her husband Jimmy preceded her in death just four months ago on November 7, 2025. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Kathy Broomhall, Sherry Simmons, and Carl Simmons, Jr.

Survivors include 3 children, Lisa Marie Noble and husband Adam of Broken Arrow, Douglas Lee Broomhall of Atoka, and David Wayne Broomhall of Bartlesville; a sister Connie Sue Hodge and husband David of Tulsa; 3 grandchildren, Baylee, Arianna, and Aiden; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 16, at 2:00 PM at the Spradlin Memory Chapel in Wetumka with Rev. Don Williamson officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home.

I always just called her Mom. It's crazy! How Time gets away from us, and i realize how long it's been since I've seen her. I can still hear her laugh. SHE ALWAYS HUGGED ME! I will miss her so much.
