Marilyn Stephens Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home - Wetumka on Mar. 10, 2026.
Marilyn Marin Stephens was born July 12, 1950, in Turkey, Texas to Harold
Turner and Ola Faye Randell Turner and passed from this life March 6, 2026, in

Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 75.

Marilyn lived in several communities across the country, traveling with her father
who was a missionary. They finally settled in Amarillo, Texas. Her father later got
a call to minister in New Mexico, but she remained in Amarillo, with her
grandfather A.G. Turner, and finished high school. Another reason she stayed
behind is because she had met a young man in school named Tommy Stephens,
who she later married on Aug 17, 1968. They remained in Amarillo several years
before relocating to Dallas in 1992. In 2006 they finally settled in Seminole.
While in Texas, Marilyn worked some 20 years for CUNA Mutual Insurance
Company and she became a Pharmacy Technician when she moved to

Seminole.

Marilyn loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking walks around her property. She

also liked to collect ceramic frogs and lighthouses.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother Coetta Turner,

and son Brian Turner, and two grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Tommy Joe Stephens of the home in
Seminole; a daughter Ferrah Dawn McClammy of Seminole; her siblings, Dwain
Turner and wife Sandra of Sunray, TX, Debbie Rando of Amarillo, TX, Raymond
Hiser Turner of Bartlesville, and Todd Turner, and wife Marina, of McAlester;
along with 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews,

other relatives, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 13, at 3:00 PM at the Starting Point
Church in Seminole with Rev. Jeff Nance and her brother Rev. Todd Turner

officiating.
