Laura KAY Stephens age 56, of Granite City, Illinois after enduring a lengthy

battle along with the crippling effects manifested by Raynaud's disease,

Peacefully passed into the Loving arms of our Lord and Savior CHRIST JESUS

Sunday March 8, 2026 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Laura Kay's Sincere Prayers, along with a Heart Overflowing with Love were for

her Greatest Treasures, her Beloved Fiance, Billy Dixon, as he stood

Faithfully by her side, Deeply Loving and caring for her. Laura Kay's Cherished

Treasures also included her two sons, her oldest, Timothy Lloyd and his wife

Lauren Welch and her precious GrandDaugther Olivia and GrandSon James.

Laura Kay's youngest son Tyler Branden Welch passed into the Loving arms of Christ

Jesus on November 22, 2011 and was there among other Love ones to welcome his

Beloved Mother into Heaven.

Laura Kay enjoyed the Love and special times spent with her loving Fiance Billy

Dixon especially reading and studying the Bible together, she loved and looked

forward to visiting and spending time with family and friends. Laura Kay enjoyed

interior decorating , creating beautiful arts and crafts , reading and traveling

when her health allowed. She also Loved her two tiny Yorkie puppies named Israel

and KiKi and the daily companionship and Joy they brought to her life.

Laura KAY Stephens was proceeded in death by her precious youngest son Tyler

Branden Welch , her Father Ernie Dale Stephens , Paternal Grandparents

Ernest Lee and Fern {Corbett} Stephens of Granite City, Illinois

Maternal Grandparents Francis Marion and Chaney {Spurlock} Blankenship of

Wayne, W. Virginia

Laura KAY Stephens is survived by her oldest son Timothy Lloyd and Wife Lauren Welch a Precious GrandDaughter Olivia and a Precious GrandSon James

her Beloved Mother Geneva Blankenship Willoughby of Proctorville , Ohio

Brothers- Gary Stephens of Marion, Illinois

Marshall Todd Stephens of Proctorville, Ohio

Sisters - Pamela Stephens and AnnaJo Stephens of Granite City, Illinois

Nephews - Joshua Beasley of Marion, Illinois

Nieces - Victoria Beasley Long, Olivia Beasley {Hayden} Smith of Marion, Illinois

Brittany Stephens {Billy} Followay of Lavalette, W. Virginia,

Kayla Stephens Barker of W. Virginia .
