Chelsea Carson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Chelsea Marie Carson passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 36 in Ogden, Utah, after a courageous and difficult struggle with mental illness. Born on May 11, 1989, in Columbia, Missouri, Chelsea moved to Ogden just nine days later, where she would spend most of her life. She graduated from Ogden High School and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, discovering a deep love and compassion for the elderly. Later, while working at J&J Nursery, she found a new passion for plants and the quiet joy they bring. Her final role in bookkeeping suited her well, allowing her natural sense of order and precision to shine. Chelsea had an incredible gift for cleaning and organizing - truly, she was the best you could ever ask for. She loved being near water, going fishing, camping, and collecting little treasures. She appreciated words of affirmation, vibrant flowers, and expressing herself through art. While she may not have always shown her love in conventional ways, Chelsea was unflinchingly honest about her feelings and deeply cared for those close to her. She is survived by her parents, Chad and Lynnelle Carson, and her sisters: Kenzie Latamondeer, Kaitlyn Peterson, and Sydney Carson. Chelsea was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend whose presence will be profoundly missed. Though her time here was marked by struggle, we find peace in knowing that healing and reunion await her in the next life - especially with her brothers, Benjamin, James, and Michael, who preceded her in death. An intimate gathering of family and Chelsea's close friends will be held on Saturday, October 4th, to honor Chelsea's life and share memories of the joy she brought to those around her.
