In Loving Memory of Chelsi Raquel Herring
1988 - 2025
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, Chelsi Raquel Herring went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at the age of 37.
Chelsi was born in Abilene, Texas, and grew up in Anson, where she graduated high school and built lifelong friendships. Soon after, she married the love of her life, the late Tommye Joe Herring, and together they built a beautiful life centered around their family with their two precious daughters.
A devoted wife and mother, Chelsi took immense pride in raising Brynli Raquel and Rowen Joe, staying home to pour her heart into their lives. Her greatest joy was being their mom and teaching them to love the Lord as deeply as she did.
Chelsi's vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her. She loved holidays, game nights, and any reason to be surrounded by family. Her infectious laugh could fill a room, and her smile had a way of brightening even the darkest days. To know Chelsi was truly to love her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommye Joe Herring; her niece, Gray Blake; her nephew, Thadeus; her uncle, Richie Cox; and several other beloved family members.
Chelsi is survived by her daughters, Brynli Raquel Herring and Rowen Joe Herring; her parents, Johnathan Estes and Wyndi Goza; and her stepmother, Amy Estes. She is also survived by her grandmother, Amy Butler; her siblings, McKenzi Blake Estes, Peyton Ryli Goza, Mallary Estes, and Grant Estes; her aunt, Reini King, and her husband, Ryan, along with their sons Denver, Espyn, and Crash King; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
A celebration of Chelsi's life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at StoneWater Church in Snyder, Texas. 208 N College Avenue Snyder, Texas 79549
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support shown in recent weeks and in the days to come. They would also like to thank the dedicated doctors, nurses, and medical professionals who cared for Chelsi in her final days.
The family asks that donations be made to the GoFundMe in honor of her daughters or to the StoneWater Snyder Elevate Youth Group; two causes close to Chelsi's heart.
