Chenelle Laniece Taylor, 38, of Powell, Ohio, passed away on August 23, 2024, leaving behind a life richly lived in service, kindness, and devotion. A graduate of Northland High School and a cherished member of Judah Christian Community, Chenelle was known for her profound ministry of music and dance. Her vibrant spirit shone brightly in praise and worship, and she touched countless lives with her passion for life and faith. Chenelle was a devoted mother who poured love into her family and community. She is preceded in death by her beloved sister Cherelle D. Taylor, grandfather James R. Taylor, grandmother Catherine Coleman (W.C.), great-grandmother Doreatha R. Hairston, and great-grandfather Edward L. Williams. Her memory lives on through her son Christopher M. Taylor, her mother Leasa M. Perry, her adoptive father Pablo M. Craft, her father Walter Lee Coleman (Sandra), her grandmother Edwina Jackson, her brother Paul M. Craft, her sisters Diamond Cleveland (Marquel) and Keyiana St.Claire (Michael), her brother Walter Lee Coleman II, and many other siblings, as well as her great uncle Melvin Williams (Diane), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Chenelle’s memory will forever be a guiding light for all who knew and loved her. A gathering to honor her enduring impact will take place on September 11, 2024 at Newcomers Funeral home; 10051 Brewster Lane. Powell, Ohio 43065 from 11am to 1pm, where we will come together to celebrate her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to contribute to Chenelle’s GoFundMe campaign, which has been set up to honor her legacy and support her son, Christopher Taylor, as he completes his final year of high school.
