CHERI J. ERETH
Cheri June (Plaskett) Ereth, 77, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away May 5, 2024, at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital with family at her side.
Cheri was born March 1, 1947, in Kansas City, MO, the younger of two children of William and Marguerite (Tarbet) Plaskett. She graduated from Raytown South High School in 1965. Cheri started her working career at Hardin Stockton doing cobalt programming, then went into the printing industry as an office manager at J2 Printing in the 1980s and Covington Group in the early 2000s. She retired in 2009.
Following retirement, Cheri enjoyed gardening, watching for hummingbirds, bowling, and spending time with friends and family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Cheri was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Ereth, and brother, James “Jay” Plaskett. Survivors include her children, William Mitchell (Dorian), Paul Mitchell (Linde), and Melissa Brick (Gregg); grandchildren, Anna Mitchell, Jacob Brick, Morgan Brick, and Mila Mitchell; her sister-in-law, Mikki Plaskett; as well as other family members and friends, including her beloved dog, Rosie.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 pm, with a time to share memories at 4:00 pm, on Friday, May 24, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.
Remembering Cheri’s love for animals, memorials are suggested to Great Plains SPCA (greatplainsSPCA.org).
