Cheri Schillo Obituary
Cheri J. Schillo, aged 77, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Born on January 8, 1947, Cheri was a beacon of love and generosity, touching the lives of those around her with her warmth and charisma.
Cheri dedicated her life to her family, fulfilling the roles of a devoted homemaker, mother, and grandmother with unparalleled passion and care. She was the life of the party, always greeting everyone with a smile that could light up any room. Her family was her pride and joy, and she remained actively involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that they will cherish forever.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jack Schillo; daughters, Jean Cullen (Dan) and Jennifer Morris (Jeff); grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Timothy Cullen, Alyssa, and Karlee Hendricks; brothers, Kenneth Werner (Irene) and Michael Werner (Kim). Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Wilma Werner.
Cheri's hobbies included cooking and baking, often sharing her delicious creations with friends and family. She was an avid golfer and a cherished member of the Vivetts girls group from her high school days. Her love for shopping at the Hallmark and Fannie May was only matched by her passion for reading mysteries and love stories, watching black & white movies, and listening to Elvis.
A cremation has been arranged, and a Celebration of Life will be held in March of 2025, where friends and family will gather to honor Chri's remarkable life and legacy.

I was blessed with the best friend ever! We shared so much but the best was our sense of humor,we cracked each other up and she brightened so many days . We shared books and magazines and had so many good conversations that I will miss dearly. She was the most generous person I ever knew, that was her gift. My heart goes out to her family for such a loss.

Cheri has been OUR BEST FRIEND since she was 19 year old. We were neighbors when we lived in Roselle. She was always there for our handicapped son. She was always treating him with little gadgets to make him laugh. she was always a giving loving person. I know she will get a glorious welcome in heaven. we will miss her dearly. Vincent Manning
