In addition to her parents, Cheryl is predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Robert Best, and her son Derick Best. She leaves behind her daughter Cherie Rogers and her husband Bill; also 4 grandsons Gavin, Cole, William, and Gabriel; her sisters Sandra Fessler and her husband Jeff, and Gail Thrush and her husband John; also sisters in law Ruth Ann Stepp and husband Lou, and Cheryl Best and her husband Earl; also numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.
Cheryl is remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family, trips to the mountains and especially cruises with her grandsons. She will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral services in celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday October 9, 2025 at the graveside at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL with Dr. T.E. McDaniel officiating. Family members will greet friends immediately prior to and following the service at the graveside. All are encouraged to share photos, condolences, and other remembrances of Cheryl on the Tribute Wall here.
