Cheryl Lynn Blake, born on October 26, 1946, in Goddard, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Ruth Brinker and the cherished mother of Sherry Blake, Kim, Penny Blake, and Gary (Andrea) Blake. Cheryl was a devoted grandmother, leaving behind a legacy that includes Jessica, Daniel, Jeremy, Jonathan, Jake, Eli, Amanda, Angel, Samuel, and Mindy.
A proud alumni of Seton High School, Cheryl embodied the values of love, care, and support for her family throughout her life. She was a nurturing presence, fostering close bonds with her loved ones. Her family stood as her proudest achievement, and she devoted her life to ensuring they felt loved and cherished.
Cheryl had a passion for the great outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping with her family. She loved visiting Goddard, Kentucky, not just as a place, but as a cherished connection to her roots and extended family. Her spirit and dedication to her loved ones were evident in all she did.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren, along with her sister, Vicki Wheeler. Cheryl was preceded in death by her sons Vic Blake and John Blake, as well as her grandsons Kevin and Jerry, and her brothers Daniel and Charlie Brinker.
Her memory will be honored at a visitation on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home in Delhi, Cincinnati, Ohio. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM in Goddard Kentucky.
Cheryl Lynn Blake will be remembered for her infectious love, her enduring spirit, and the countless precious memories she created with family and friends. She leaves behind a world richer for having known her.
