Cheryl Ann Breisch, a radiant soul whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her, passed away on June 22, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on May 28, 1961, in Shelby, Ohio, Cheryl's journey through life was marked by her intelligence, selflessness, and courageous spirit. She was a devoted wife to her loving husband of 45 years, Richard Breisch, and a cherished mother to her children Kera Nichole Bueno (Javier), Adam David Breisch (Adela), Brian Richard Breisch, and Benjamin Cade Breisch (Amy). Her legacy continues to bloom through her grandchildren Joshua Breisch, Electra Hart, Isabella Bueno, and Joaquin Bueno.
Cheryl's life was a testament to the love she had for her family, including her siblings Erin Himes and Darrell Ramey. She was predeceased by her father, David Ramey, and is fondly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and her beloved cats, Sumer and Lilith, who provided her with companionship and joy.
With hands that healed and a heart that cared, Cheryl was a passionate and beloved nurse. Her colleagues and patients admired her for being the epitome of a natural caretaker. Her tremendous pride in her work set a standard that was hard to match; she was truly one of a kind. Her tough-as-nails persona, paired with her unapologetic authenticity, made her a force to be reckoned with. Cheryl was known for her bluntness, directness, and for always speaking her mind-a trait that earned her deep respect from those around her.
An avid reader and a lover of the outdoors, Cheryl found solace in the pages of a good book and the tranquility of her garden. Her green thumb was legendary, especially when it came to growing tomatoes. She had grown every kind of tomato there was and even created her own hybrid, a testament to her ingenuity and connection with nature. The joy she found in tending to her plants was evident to all who had the pleasure of witnessing her garden's vibrant beauty.
Cheryl's life was one of unwavering dedication and hard work, values she instilled in her children. Her intelligence shone brightly, guiding her in every endeavor she pursued. She loved to spend her time swimming and basking in the sun, embracing the simple pleasures of life with a heart full of gratitude.
Cheryl Ann Breisch's journey on earth may have come to a close, but the impact of her love, strength, and kindness will forever be felt. She was a remarkable woman who lived her life with grace and left behind a legacy of enduring love and indomitable spirit. As we say goodbye to Cheryl, we celebrate the extraordinary life she led and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will be treasured, her stories retold, and her presence deeply missed. Rest in peace, dear Cheryl, knowing that your light continues to shine in the hearts of those you loved.
The family encourages all to wear bright, vibrant colors to celebrate her life and pay homage to her vibrantly lived and beautiful life and the legacy that she leaves behind
