Cheryl Arlene Clayton

Cheryl Arlene Clayton (Wesner), born on December 25, 1963, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by love and family. She spent her adult life in Lyman, South Carolina, where she built her home, her family, and countless friendships. She was the beloved daughter, a devoted wife, a cherished mother and grandmother. Survived by her mother Marlene Wesner, sister Patricia Galinski, children Robert Clayton (Lauren Clayton), Cheryl Malinda Clayton, her grandchildren Austin Clayton, Hayden Clayton, Emily Kirby, Dawson Pruitt, Kinsley Pruitt, and Landan Pruitt. Can't forget her grandfurbabies Thor, Justice, Tucker, Ozzy and Poppy. Preceded by her father, Kenneth Wesner, her brother Kenneth Wesner, Jr. and her loving husband Dawson Brad Clayton. Cheryl was known for her selflessness, her generous spirit, and her gift of making everyone feel at home. She touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion, always putting others before herself. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought joy, and her love will be carried in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and family will continue to live on through all those she touched. A Celebration of Life Gathering is planned for Friday, October 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lyman Lake Lodge, 200 Lyman Lodge Road, Lyman, SC 29365.
