Mr. Hollis D Clayton

Mr. Hollis D. Clayton, age 73, passed away early Thursday morning, September 18, 2025 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Mike Truitt will officiate the service. Hollis Darrell Clayton was born April 21, 1952 in Americus. He was the son of the late Parks Hollis Clayton and the late Louis Ruth Timmons Clayton. Mr. Clayton was a retired Electrician. He worked for Georgia Southwestern State University until his retirement. He was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his daughters, Kimberleigh Harrison of Illinois and Wendy Clayton of Americus; step sons, Mark Robinson of Americus, William Warren of North Carolina and his sister, Janice Clayton Warren of Waycross, GA. Three grandchildren, Dillion Debose, Brooke Grosmick and Christopher Flick, Jr. also survive. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clayton was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Cromer Clayton.
