She enjoyed cooking, camping and spending time with her family.
Cheryl is survived by her son, John Gatwood of Lancaster; grandchildren, Alexis, Hunter, Ariana, Tyler, Kyle and Ryan; three great grandchildren, brother, Roger (Susan) Brumfield of Amanda; sister, Karen (Ronnie) Carpenter of Carroll; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Allen Gatwood, mother and step-father, Wanda and Gerald Valentine, brother, Michael Brumfield and grandson, Joey Gatwood.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, LANCASTER, OHIO.
