Dallas – Cheryl Ann Kelly Hedgepath, 65, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 24, 1958 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina and is the daughter of the late Elmer Eugene Kelly and Aloha Jean Thompkinson Kelly. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Lee Hedgepath and her children, Serenity Tyron and Austen Blake, who died in July 9, 2010; and 2 brothers, Roger Ballard and Bobby Kelly
She enjoyed cooking and being with family. Most of all she enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Cheryl enjoyed playing coin master, shopping on line, yard sales and scratch offs. She loved crocheting and making things.
Cheryl is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 44 years, Carl Wayne Hedgepath; son, Carl Hedgepath, II and wife Brandy, daughters, Billie Jo Verrier and husband Steven, Cynthia Morrison and husband Joe, Kelly Hedgepath; grandchildren, Hailey, Makayla, and Trinity Verrier, Carl III, Adrien, Gracey Hedgepath, Jesse, Dylan, Kevin, Christian Harris, Kirstin Schumann and Destiny DeShawn; a total of 25 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and several other nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carl II, Carl III, Billie Jo, Steven, Kevin, Dylan, Adrien, Kelly, Christian and Jesse.
