Cheryl Ann Hildreth

Cheryl "Shari" Hildreth, 63, died unexpectedly September 24, 2023 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born February 18, 1960 at St. Josephs Hospital in Elmira NY. Being predeceased by her father: James Yerkes, and mother: Lorraine Short. She was the daughter and wife of Veteran's & a volunteer firefighter which made her a very active member in her community. Shari graduated from Elmira around 1977. Following her graduation she met her husband, Calvin Hildreth, and got married in 1982. They spent most of their years together in Millerton Pennsylvania. Shari was a hard working stay at home mother of three young girls. Surviving in addition to her husband (Calvin) are her daughters; Jorene Briggs, Louann Jones, & Tara Hildreth and her boyfriend Reece. As well as her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grand children, also many actively involved nieces, nephews other family members and close friends of the community. A privately located service of Remembrance will be in place for Shari. Information for the services will be given by the Eldest daughter Jorene Briggs. A go fund me benefit has been organized by Tina Hooks to help raise donations for the family to cover expenses in memory of Shari.
