Cheryl Sue Marsh passed away peacefully in her sleep, January 20, 2025 in Glendale, Arizona. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
Cheryl will be remembered by all of her nieces and nephews as the aunt who spent summers entertaining them when they flew to California during summer vacations. She spent many hours playing board games and card games with them each summer.
Cheryl had many interests. She loved knitting, crafts, jewelry making, cooking and baking. She loved reading. Cheryl always said she was a very happy person and she was.
Cheryl was born in Kansas City, Missouri, December 8, 1946. She had three siblings, Doris Lee Nance (Paris), Raymond Franklin Paris, and Marvin Duane Marsh.
Cheryl's mom and dad moved from Kansas City, Missouri to California when she was a young child. Cheryl attended school in Candle Stick Park schools until she graduated High School in 1964. As an adult Cheryl held several jobs, her last being an office worker for a company in Independence, Missouri. She loved her job and stayed in that position until she retired and moved to Arizona in 2013. Cheryl enjoyed her final years living close to her sister, Doris. They spent a lot of time together during Cheryl's final years. Cheryl's favorite treat was ice coffee. We always made sure to bring her iced coffee on our visits. Cheryl's cousins, Donnie and Pam made yearly visits from Missouri to Arizona to take Cheryl on trips throughout Arizona. When Cheryl's health declined, Donnie and Pam continued yearly visits spending a week each time visiting her daily. They played games, watched favorite movies and enjoyed foods brought in. We are forever grateful for Donnie and Pam because of the love and joy they brought to Cheryl.
Cheryl will be remembered by family and friends as a loving, happy, sister, aunt and cousin who will be missed by all who knew her. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Cheryl, please visit our floral store.
