Cheryl Yvonne Mays, aged 78, passed away on June 2, 2025 following her 2nd battle with Lung cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Elizabeth Reynolds; sister Pauline (Donnette) Newman; grandchildren Kasey Storie and Calvin (CJ) Ludwig; and nieces/nephews Vicki, John, Kevin and Jeffery Johnson. She is survived by her three daughters, Cherry Wilson (William "Troy" Enzler) and Cheryl Durst, Mary-Ann Weippert; grand-children Aaron and Sierra Durst, Cori-Lynn Settle, Cassity and Calista Wilson, Carmen, Saphire, Crystal and Jade Thompson; her nieces/nephews Tony, Brandy, and Melanie Johnson; and her great grandchildren Bradley, Destiney, Cali and Calvin Ludwig, Bentley, Silas, and Teagan Durst, Braxton, Bryson and Beckham Settle.

Cheryl was free spirited and loved to have a good time; she lived her life to the fullest and always chased after what she wanted. She was strong-willed and very giving, always willing to help other in any way she could. She has pushed through multiple battles in life and fought her hardest until the very end. She was sweet to everyone she met and cared deeply about those she loved. She was kind to everyone and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 PM Friday, June 6, 2025 with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
