Cheryl Lynn McCoskey, 72, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on August 11, 2024. She was born on May 26, 1952, the daughter of the late Herman and Leatha McCoskey. Babies made Cheryl the happiest whenever she saw one, she would get so excited and her whole face would light up. She loved to do crafts and artwork, watch her favorite shows on TV, and she was definitely a people person she loved getting mail, pictures of all the relatives and hearing about what they were doing, and was especially excited when family would come to visit her. Her eyes would light up when she saw them and you could just feel her happiness when she smiled. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Betty Katherine McCoskey, Frances Jane McCoskey Powell, Norma Jean McCoskey Wilson and half sister Loretta Jean McCoskey Earley Cox. She leaves behind her cousin, Kathy Foos, and cousins Kathy Selvia, Connie Young, and Terri Welker, many friends and other family members. She was a deep down, happy person she always had a smile on her face for everyone it was the simple things that brought her the most joy new scented lotions, flavored chapsticks, Sprite and milkshakes, and people coming to see her she will definitely be missed by all that knew her There will not be a service. She will be laid to rest with her parents at Grandview Cemetery in Terre Haute. Online condolences may be left at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
