Cheryl Nelson Murphy, born August 14, 1944, passed away Friday April 4, 2025. She was a native of Emerado, North Dakota and long-term resident of Mobile, AL. Mrs. Murphy was a loving wife to Jerry Murphy for 57 years. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, antiques and most recently her two young grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elwood and Aurora Nelson, sister Lavonne Noyes (Haugen-Nelson) and brothers Allyn and Norman Nelson.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by; her beloved husband, Jerry; her son, Daniel (Hanna); and grandsons, Jesse and Kevin; as well as her nieces and nephews, whom she adored.
Visitation will be Friday April 11, 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 followed immediately by a graveside service at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
