a lifelong resident of Jamestown, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband, John E. Page, whom she affectionately referred to as "the boy next door" over the course of their forty wonderful years of marriage. Born on September 22, 1964, in South Kingstown, RI, Cheryl's warmth and compassion defined her life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and community member.
Cheryl was part owner of Island Rubbish Company, a business she successfully operated alongside her brothers. Her dedication and commitment extended beyond her professional life, as she was actively involved in numerous activities that highlighted her generous spirit. A graduate of North Kingstown High School, Cheryl became known for her love of camping, cruising, and traveling to Yellowstone. She fondly recalled her childhood experiences in Jamestown, where she relished riding dirt bikes, playing softball, and embracing the thrill of fishing and hunting.
Her commitment to helping others was evident in her involvement with the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation support groups. A longtime member of Weight Watchers, she also served as a DoTerra representative of essential oils, sharing her passion for healthy living with those around her. Raised Catholic, Cheryl eventually converted to the Baptist faith and became an active and dedicated member of Central Baptist Church, where she found joy and solace in her faith.
Besides her husband, Cheryl is survived by her sons, Daniel A. Page and his fiancé Kendall of Culpeper, VA, and Joshua J. Page of Deltona, FL; her brothers, Michael Tiexiera and his wife Lisa of Jamestown and Steven Tiexiera and his wife Eileen of Jamestown. Her spirit will continue to shine through her grandchildren, Noah (13), Tegan (9), and Jackson (7), who brought her immense joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. Tiexiera (Ret. JFD) and Phyllis M. (Whitehead) Tiexiera, as well as her son, Tyler Joseph Page. Cheryl's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10am in Central Baptist Church, 99 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown. Burial will follow in Cedar Cemetery, Jamestown. VISITING HOURS Friday from 4-7pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, 11A Blackstone Valley Place, Lincoln, RI 02865.
