Cheryl “Sherry” Becker, age 70, of Wheeler, Michigan, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1955, to her parents, George and Lillian Marie (Shaw) Redburn.
Cheryl was such a goofy, stubborn, kind, loving and thoughtful person who will be remembered for her lively spirit. She had an infectious attitude, could make anyone laugh, and communicate with anyone. Her gifts in this life were her sense of humor and her ability to hold conversations. Cheryl loved watching television, especially her favorite soap opera, “General Hospital.” She held a deep affinity for animals, especially cats. Above all, she loved going out to dinner with family, or spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. They made her heart and soul feel full. She loved her birthday and always remembered the birthdays of those she loved. Her legacy will live on through all who loved and cared about her and will forever cherish her memory.
Surviving are a daughter, Kristy Becker; five grandchildren: Rayanne Becker, Haley Becker, Breanna Becker, Christopher Byers and Ashley (Jared) Babock; three great-grandchildren: Hadley, Lyla, and Gunner Babcock; two brothers: Mark (Jaime) Redburn and Scott (Sue) Redburn. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Byers; parents, George and Lillian Redburn; and a brother, Gary Redburn.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Mary’s AFC Home and Residential Hospice for all the love and care they provided to Cheryl, as well as the family.
