JOHNSONVILLE formerly of MARION CHERYL HUGGINS STRICKLAND Cheryl Huggins Strickland, 76, passed away of Thursday, August 14, 2025 at McLeod Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service will be held at 2 Pm on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Richardson Funeral Home. Entombment will be private at Palmetto Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will be receiving friends after the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Strickland was born in Marion, a daughter of the late Watson and Marie Hooks Huggins. She held her Masters + 30 in Education, and taught school for 38 years. Cheryl enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She attended Johnsonville United Methodist Church and was a lifelong member of Marion Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Dale Strickland of the home; daughters, Brandy Bunn Little (Ben) and Jonna Bunn Dougherty (Brendan); and her grandchildren: Branton Little, Bevan Little, Cruz Dougherty, Knox Dougherty, Jax Strickland, Ellie Strickland, Colin Kitts and Corbin Kitts.
