Dennis Nelson Libes
Dennis Nelson Libes, 69, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 after an illness. The family will hold a celebration of Dennis's life at a later date.
Dennis was born in Forsyth County, NC to the late Charles Nelson Libes and Gloria Young Libes of Winston-Salem. He is also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ronald Renaud.
Dennis worked in the medical field for over 40 years. He loved coming to South Carolina and spending his days with his family. Myrtle Beach was a place he really loved.
Surviving are his sisters, Teresa Libes Renaud and Lisa Cartrette of Mullins; niece Chassidy Perrell of Winson-Salem, NC; Aunt Robin Sims (Jerry) of Oklahoma; and a cousin, Tim Young of Winston-Salem, NC.
Memorials may be made in Dennis's memory to the American Cancer Society (Cancer.org) 950 48th Ave. N., Suite 101 Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

I will hold Dennis in my heart every day. I will miss him every day. I was his neighbor and friend for 25 years. We talked daily. He meant so much to me
He was a good man with a lot of love for his family and friends. He will be forever in my heart and prayers.
