Chesley Elvin Caro

CARO- Mr. Chesley Elvin Caro age 86 of Jay Road Brewton, Alabama passed away Sunday afternoon December 7, 2025 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native of Evergreen, Alabama, a former resident of Brooklyn, Alabama, and a long time resident of Brewton, Alabama. Mr. Caro was of the Christian Faith, a 1957 graduate of Evergreen High School, a member of the Conecuh River Rod and Gun Club, a member of the Silver Eagle Band, and was a retired assistant mill superintendent from Jefferson Smurfit with 43 years of service. Chesley enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing acoustic guitar, singing, and was an avid Alabama fan.

(1) Son- Michael (Sandi) Caro of Brewton, Alabama

(1) Daughter- Cathy (Will) Perry of Pace, Florida

(4) Grandchildren- Liz Caro, Becca (Romeo) Begunu, Trevor (Alonna) Perry, Trent Perry

(2) Great Grandchildren- Cora Begunu, Lillian Perry

Wife- Sylvia Jerkins Caro

(2) Sisters- Altha Lee Caro, Mary Frances Myers

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME BREWTON, ALABAMA.

Funeral services are set for Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 2 p.m. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME with Rev. William Joyner officiating. Interment will follow in Range Cemetery in Repton, Alabama with WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME OF BREWTON, ALABAMA DIRECTING.
