Chester Rudolph “Chet” Krol, 85, of Perkinson passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025.
Chet was born in Gilbertville, Massachusetts, on Mark 6, 1940. He was a longtime resident of both Artkansas and South Mississippi. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gulfport. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, swimming, playing cribbage with his friend Ken, playing casino slots and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Mildred Krol, and his loving wife of 45 years Lillian “Kitty” Krol.
Chet is survived by his three children Chip (Stacey), Randy (Lisa), and Doug (Robin), along with his six grandchildren, Steven (Ashley), Justin (Marinel), Chase, Trevor (Jenny), Katelynn and Ciana. Chet also has a great-granddaughter Autumn, and recently found out his first great-grandson Collin Reid will be born in October. Chet is also survived by his siblings Jack Krol (Janet), Bob Krol (Nora), and Marion Feasel (Harry).
Chet served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base. It was during this time that Chet met his wife, Kitty. They soon thereafter married and started a family. Chet took a job with Dupont and traveled with the company before making his way to the Delisle plant where he retired in 1994.
Chet will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
There will be a graveside service held at the Biloxi National Cemetery on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 9:00am. He will be laid to rest with his wife, Kitty.
