Chester T. Osinski, a resident of Warminster, PA for the past 36 years, passed away on July 19, 2025. He was 87 years old.

He was a devoted and loving husband to Eileen; Chet was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (Werkley-Pyle) and son Clifford, sister MaryAnn (Charles) Gager and brother Anthony Osinski. Chet was born in Philadelphia, PA (Fishtown) to the late Chester and Anna (Ktytor) Osinski. Chester served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard 103rd Engineer Battalion Combat and was also the Command Officer of the 144th Mobile Assault Bridge Company with total service of over 21 years retiring as Captain. As CPT Osinski he was awarded various awards and decorations. He truly valued the freedoms of the United States and was honored to serve in the U.S. Military. He worked for various railroads, Pennsylvania Railroad, The Penn Central Railroad, and retired with Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail) after 31 years of railroad service. He was 58 when he retired. In his retirement he worked various Part Time positions for a period of time.

Chet is survived by his son, Jeffrey Osinski, Step Sons Charles Osinski and Thomas Pyle III, Step Daughters Annette Johnson, Christine (Pyle-Stuber- Bob), Theresa (Pyle-Smith- Eric) and Granddaughters Bailey Osinski, Jenna Osinski, Catherine (Pyle-Smith), Laurel (Pyle-Smith), Grandsons Jeffrey, Jake Osinski, and Thomas Pyle (Stuber), Sister-in-Law Kathleen Cody (Joe). He is also survived by a brother John Osinski (Sharon), sister-in-law Susan Osinski, Nephews Charles Gager, Jr and Anthony Osinski, Jr. and for the past several years a very loving, caring, companion Margaret (Marge) Cherry.

He was a 1955 graduate of West Catholic High School and also earned and Associate Engineering Degree. He was an active member of the Artillery Corps Washington Grays as the Adjutant, an active member of the First Regiment Infantry Veteran Corps also as the Adjutant and in the position of Secretary of the First Regiment Infantry of Pennsylvania, Corporation. He was also a member of the American Legion.

Chet was a member of the Nativity of our Lord Parish in Warminster. He was a Eucharist Minister and an active member of the Parish Pre-Cana Team at Nativity. He had a deep devout Catholic religious faith. Chet also distributed the Eucharist to individuals at the Masonic Village in Warminster. He also had been a member of the Upper Bucks Marriage Encounter Community for many years with his wife Eileen.

Chet enjoyed playing golf, annual Florida winter vacations, the beach, parties, watching football (Eagles), dancing, Disney, dinners out, the computer, and his grandchildren. He always had some type of project ongoing working on the garden, taking care of the house and helping others. He will be remembered for his devotion to his wife Eileen, his generosity, his commitment to the numerous military organizations, his humor and serious ways, along with his work ethics.

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, PA and again on Saturday, July 26, 2025 after 9:30 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 645 Street Road, Warminster. His Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
