He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Lynda Patterson; grandmother, Carolyn Brown.
Chip loved the Georgia Bulldogs, fishing, and the Atlanta Braves. He pastored several small churches in our community.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Patterson; daughters, Amber Patterson of Dalton, Tanner Patterson of Dalton, Sarah Patterson of Dalton; step-son, Ethan Bartlett of Dalton; step-daughter, Savannah White of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Richard and Michelle Patterson of Red Bank, TN, Cliff Patterson of Red Bank, TN; grandchildren, Jace Brown, Lucas White, Landon White.
The funeral service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Daryl Ballew and Rev. Mason Holliday officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens.
