Funeral service for Chitto Olvera, age 11, of Saltillo, will be held at 3:00 P.M on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Saltillo Kerry Garmon Gymnasium, Saltillo Texas with Jesse Olvera officiating. Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Miguel Olvera, Jesse Olvera, Eddie Olvera, Edwars Vicente, Tim Lane and Arturo Olvera, Sr. and serving as honorary pallbearers are Bo Morris and his classmates and friends. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, Sulphur Springs. Chitto passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021.
Angel Arturo “Chitto” Olvera was born on June 14, 2010, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was in the 6th grade at Saltillo ISD. He was the sweetest kid with the brightest smile. Chitto loved to play basketball, take care of his cows, go fishing, ride his bicycle and four-wheeler and be with his family and friends. He loved to eat his spicy Takis, hot fries, hot wings and drink his Mt. Dew. Chitto was always willing to lend a helping hand. He wanted to be a state trooper when he grew up.
Survivors include his parents Arturo Olvera and Angeles Vicente; sister, Adelice; grandparents,
Arturo and Carolina Olvera and Rosa Rosgado and Eleazar Vicente.
Preceded by his uncle, Wilbert Cruz.
