She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Melvin, her children Michael, Gregory, Randall (Evelyn), and Naomi (Tucker), eleven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Chiyoko was known for her selfless, funny, happy, kind, and nurturing nature. She found joy in listening to traditional Okinawan music and performing traditional Okinawan dance with her friends. Chiyoko loved spending time in the garden and creating dried floral arrangements. Her most cherished pastime was being with her grandkids and great grandkids, whether joining them for vacation, attending school programs, cheering them on at sporting events, cooking or just hanging around and talking with them.
