Chris "Apple Jack" Appleby, 46, of Columbia, KY died Thursday, August 4, 2022 at his home. He was born on November 30, 1975 in Columbia, KY to the late Frank and Janice Thompson Appleby.
Chris enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Jennifer Coffey Appleby of Columbia, KY; two children Samantha and Zachary Appleby of Columbia, KY; a sister Angelina Grider (Adam) of Columbia, KY; his father-in-law Bobby Coffey (Beverly) of Columbia, KY; his mother-in-law Nancy Abernathy (Jeff) of Columbia, KY; three nephews Landyon Grider, Austin Kinnett and Jayden Foster and his special K-9 friend "Gunner".
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, August 8, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Loy Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue on Monday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Craig Trumbo will be officiating and pallbearers will be Clint Maggard, Matt Brummett, Carl Jones, Lonnie Parrigin, Mac Wright and Peanut Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Karnes, Bubba Coffey, Henny Coffey, Chandler Bennett, Glen Murphy, Greg Thrasher and Glenn Yoder.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
