Chris McWhirter Obituary
Chris McWhirter, age 50, of Mooresboro, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024.
Christopher was born Friday, August 17, 1973 in Mecklenburg County to Cathey Hartis McWhirter who resides in Mooresboro and the late Dale Franklin McWhirter. He worked in construction most of his life. Chris enjoyed working on cars, going to drag races and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, those who are left to treasure his memory include his wife, Rene McWhirter; children, Matthew McWhirter, Cariss McWhirter, Cainan McWhirter, Slayde McWhirter, Brielie McWhirter; sister, Amy Glidewell (Chris) of Mooresboro; six nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 3rd at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ken Parsons officiating.
