Chris Paul Richard Jr., 39, of Sulphur, passed on October 10, 2024. He was affectionately known as "Little Chris" by his family and close friends. Chris worked for Resin systems for 19 Years. He loved hunting, fishing, and golfing with his family and friends. Starting in fall of 2011 Chris has enjoyed playing pool with the family and friends team called the "Rebels". He enjoyed competing and teaching his children, nieces and nephews. Chris always wanted to help other pool players with their game with the goal of helping them to improve. He was competitive but loved playing for fun.
Those left to cherish the memory of Chris are his parents, Victoria and Chris Richard Sr.; his loving wife of 22 years, Lacey Richard; children, Ashton and fiancée, Andrew, Austin, and Alyssa Richard; brothers, Justin Richard (Nikki), Jonathan Richard; nephew Bryson; nieces, Avery, Kennadie, Elizabeth, Evelyn; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chris is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis and Pearl Jardneaux; paternal grandparents, Clinton Jesse Richard and Juanita Cloud Richard.
A funeral service honoring Chris will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 19, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur with burial to follow at Big Woods Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Friday, October 18, 2024 starting at 5 PM until 8 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur with visitation resuming at 8 AM on Saturday.
