Chris Bower Spicer, born on June 3, 1954, in Hardtner, Kansas, passed away on October 22, 2025, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center in Kingman, Kansas. Chris graduated from Kiowa High School, then went on to be a dedicated laborer, contributing his skills to various companies throughout his life. Chris took great pride in his work and was recognized for his commitment and determination.
Chris enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He particularly loved drinking coffee with his friends in Anthony, where he fostered connections and built lasting friendships. His warm demeanor and genuine spirit will be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched.
Chris is survived by his brothers, Bret Spicer (Judy Spicer) and Mike Spicer (Linda Lukens), along with five nieces and nephews and close family friend Larry Noakes.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Irma Spicer, and his brother, Gary Gibson. He also mourned the loss of his nephew, Bradly Gibson.
A Funeral Service to honor Chris’s life will be held on October 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Lanman Funeral Home in Kiowa, Kansas. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate the life of Chris. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
