New Iberia, Louisiana - Chris Anthony Theriot, a beloved soul who touched the lives of many, passed away on July 1, 2024, in Lafayette. Born on October 30, 1954, in Saint Martinville, Chris' journey was filled with love, passion, and a deep for life's simple pleasures.
Chris was not just an ordinary individual; he was known for his unwavering love for antique collecting and his impeccable taste in exquisite art. His keen eye for beauty allowed him to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, making every moment with him truly special. Chris found solace and joy in the great outdoors finding peace in nature's embrace.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Chris leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Chris is now reunited with his parents, Patrick Theriot, Sr. and Doris Perero-Theriot, in a place where pain and suffering have no power. He is also preceded in death by his nephew Jered Theriot.
Those left to honor his memory and carry on his spirit include his surviving family members; his brothers: Patrick Theriot, Jr. and Kevin (Flossie) Theriot; sisters: Deborah Bourque and Vickie (David) Bourque; his nephews: Ji (Kellie) Theriot and Cody Theriot, Tyler (Lyndsay) Bourque, Kyle (Kri) Bourque, and Skylor (Tonya) Theriot; beautiful and loving nieces: Kristi (Nick) Theriot and Deana Smith.
Furthermore, Chris leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his great nephews and nieces: Cooper, Patrick, Keygan, Bailey, Miles, Finn, Lilah, Ryker, Livie, Felix, Makenzie, Gage, Hayden and Hunter. His circle of love extended even further to include Randy Provost - his best friend who shared countless moments of joy and laughter with him.
In every cherished memory and every heartfelt embrace shared with those he held dear, Chris Anthony Theriot's spirit will continue to shine brightly. May he rest in eternal peace surrounded by the beauty he so deeply cherished during his time on earth.
