Clinton Dale Thompson Obituary
New Iberia – Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Clinton Dale Thompson, 47, who passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Interment will be at a later date.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 12 noon until 1:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home.
Clinton Dale, a longtime area resident, was born on September 25, 1977, in Elkin, North Carolina, to Roger Dale Thompson and Pamela Sue Shores Thompson. An avid New Orleans Saints fan, he enjoyed life and was always happy. Having never met a stranger, Clinton Dale was a friend to everyone. He loved his family dearly and he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his mother, Pamela Sue Shores Robins of Elkin, North Carolina; sister, Christina Thompson Crocker (Alan Michael) of Elkin, North Carolina; brother, Matthew Van Thompson (Sarah) of Springfield, Virginia; nieces and nephews, Ashley Allison, Mabon Van Thompson, and Gwendolyn Van Thompson; aunts and uncles, Michael Shores (Mary Etta), Randy Shores (Teresa), Linda Shores (Vicki), Julia Patterson (Terry) and Sharon Irvin (Larry).
Clinton Dale was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Thompson and his stepfather, John Robins.
