Born on August 31, 1973, in Norristown, PA, Chris brightened the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. He was a proud Marine, having served with honor as a sergeant, embodying the strength and integrity that characterized his life.
Chris was a man of remarkable depth and warmth. Those who knew him cherished his beautiful smile that could light up any room. He possessed a unique charm that made everyone feel seen and valued. His fierce love for his family was matched only by his intelligence and wit, making him not just a source of strength, but also a joy to be around. He was funny, bright, and exuded a fierce loyalty to the people he loved, always standing as a steadfast pillar for his family.
A culinary artist at heart, Chris loved cooking for his family, pouring his love into every meal he prepared. His passion for life extended to his enthusiasm for football—especially as a devoted fan of the Eagles. He found great pleasure in movies and music, often sharing these interests with his loved ones. Additionally, he had a playful spirit, indulging in arcade games and building Lego sets with his children, showing a side of him that was youthful and creative.
Above all, Chris was immensely proud of his children, Alana, Maleya, Christin, and Chris III. He celebrated each of their accomplishments, instilling in them the values of hard work and dedication.
Chris leaves behind a loving family that includes his mother, Jacqueline Thompson, his father, Chris Anthony Thompson Sr., Alana, Maleya, Christin, and Chris III, grandson Blue Johnson, his devoted fiancé, Brooklyn Eagan, and his cherished brothers, Steven and Jason Thompson.
