Thomas Christopher “Chris” Westmoreland, age 59, of Trenton, GA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Chris was known for his big heart, sharp wit, and deep devotion to his family. A gifted mechanic, he earned several awards throughout his career, but his greatest pride was in his children and grandchildren. He had a natural talent for making people laugh, often playing pranks and sharing his signature sense of humor with everyone around him. A die-hard Florida Gator fan, Chris wore his team colors with pride and passion.

He was a Christian and found strength and comfort in his faith. Chris was deeply loved and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Zella (Rex) Morris; daughters, Amanda (Marcus) Humphries and Ashley (Chris) Westmoreland; grandchildren, Daxton Humphries, Parker Humphries, Paisley Humphries, Briley Smith, and Starley Smith; sisters, Maria (Nigel) Herbert, Carol (Michael) Ballard, and Julie (Jan) Annareila; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Ownby officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the service hour.
