Chris A Wolverton, age 65, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at his home.
Chris was born December 5, 1957, in Cambridge, Ohio, a son of the late Fred and Edith (Harden) Wolverton.
He worked in the oil fields for many years and recently Rigid Tool. Chris enjoyed fishing and playing cards. He loved spending time with his family.
Along with his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his brothers, Dave Wolverton, Benny Wolverton, Tim Wolverton, Steve Wolverton, Ricky Wolverton, sisters, Sue Byard, Cheryl Berg, and Andrea McElroy, and a stepbrother, Dion Earley.
He is survived by his children, Angie (& Ed) Hollins, Amanda (& Mario) Conrad, Christopher (& Ashley) Wolverton, Ciera (& Seth) Roller and Amber Conrad all of Cambridge, his brothers, Mike Wolverton, Ira Wolverton, and Ethan Wolverton all of Cambridge, his sisters, Cindy (& Thomas 'Tinker') Harding of Byesville, Vicki (& Terry) Dennis of Cambridge, Bobbi Galliamore of Cambridge, and Helen Harden of Cambridge and several step- sisters. Also left to cherish his memory are fourteen grandchildren, Laken, Kayshawn, Janiya, Jeremiah, Neveah, Liam, Katelynn, Christin, Bryson, Ryland, Stevie Bea, Landon, Faye, and Asia, five great- grandchildren, Cyrus, Indy, Myaniah, Margot, and Mateo, one aunt, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his closest friends, Lisa Reed, Dave Kosko, and Jim (& Becky) Durant.
Calling hours will be held at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 2PM until the start of the service at 4PM. The family asks that memorial contributions are made in Chris' name to the Guernsey County Dog Shelter, 62824 Bennett Ave Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
