Christi Ann Burns Keiffer, was a beacon of love and spirit in the lives of all who knew her. Born on June 19, 1958, in Boston, Massachusetts, Christi's journey on this earth was a testament to the strength and beauty of the human spirit. She gracefully departed our world on October 3, 2025, in Splendora, Texas, after a valiant battle with lung cancer.
Christi's life was marked by the love she had for her family. She was a cherished wife to her devoted husband, Raymond Allen Keiffer, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. Together, they nurtured a family that was her pride and joy. Her daughter Leisa Langner and son-in-law Theo Langner III blessed her with three adored grandchildren, Tyler, Charlene, and Jacquelyn, who brought immense happiness to her days. Her son, Daniel Keiffer, and daughter, Megan Keiffer, who blessed her with more grandchildren Riley, Jayden, and Rory they filled her home with laughter and love. Christi's legacy of love and light will live on through them.
The daughter of Larry K. Burns and the late Barbara-Wolford Chandler, Christi was a guiding light in her family. She was lovingly supported by her stepmother, Cheryl Burns. Her sister, Cindra Wheeler, and brothers, Mike and Mark Burns, shared in the many cherished moments of Christi's life. Although, preceded in death by her son Allen, her mother Barbara Wolford-Chandler and brother Jon Anthony "Tony" Wheeler, paternal grandparents Kenneth and Margret Burns, maternal grandparents Ray and Eileen Wolford, and stepbrother Jimmy "Scott" Conner, their memories remained a comforting presence in her heart.
Christi was a proud graduate of the class of 1976, and she carried the lessons of her youth throughout her life. She embraced her role as a homemaker with passion, creating a warm and welcoming haven for all who entered her home. Her spiritual beliefs were the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's trials and tribulations with grace and resilience. Her interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. Christi's grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her love for pets, plants, and nature spoke of her deep connection to all living things, and music was a source of joy and solace for her.
Christi was the epitome of a loving, spirited, and courageous soul. Her indomitable spirit was evident in the way she faced life's challenges, and her warmth radiated to all those fortunate enough to cross her path. Her many aunts, uncles, and cousins will fondly remember her for her boundless love and the joy she brought into their lives.
