Obituary
Christian Joshua Chambers, aged 18, passed away on July 11, 2023, and entered his heavenly home. He was born on July 14, 2004, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Christian was a devoted member of Central Christian Church and held a strong Christian faith. He had a passion for video games and enjoyed expressing himself through art. Christian was a 2023 graduate for Southside High School. He truly loved expressing himself through music as a vocalist in the Southside High School Choir and Chaffin Jr. High Choir. Christian was deeply involved in the FCA All Abilities Group. He thoroughly enjoyed competing on the Special Olympics Team. His vibrant presence will be sorely missed by his parents, Joey and Kim Chambers of the home; he is survived by his mother Shay Robinson Chambers, of Fort Smith. He is also survived by his loving brothers Connor and Wesley Chambers, and his dear sisters Kirsten and Emily Chambers, all of the home. In addition, Christian is remembered by his paternal grandparents, Greg and Jody Chambers of Fort Smith, John and Teresa Hedge of Joplin, Missouri, and Harold and Linda Davis of Hackett, Arkansas. His maternal grandparents, Anthony and Ella Robinson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, also hold cherished memories of him. Christian leaves behind a host of family and friends who loved him dearly. Pallbearers will be Luke Berrie, Dylan Curtis, Josiah Loukota, Ben McCollough, Eli Rice, and Caleb Wear. Isaac Montgomery, Rush Montgomery, Mark Nichols, Curtis Ralston and Gary Plymale will serve as the Honorary Pallbearers. The visitation will be on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Central Christian Church, located at 400 North Waldron Road in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Funeral Service for Christian, will be on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Central Christian Church. Interment will follow immediately after the funeral service at Steep Hill Cemetery, 8015 Steep Hill Road, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Services under the direction of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services, 1805 North A Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
