It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christian Anthony Gammage on September 28, 2024. Known to many as "Pelota" or "Bubby", "Man Man" and "Sexy Chocolate" Christian was born on June 12, 2000, in South Bend, Indiana.
He was a humble soul with a heart full of love and a mind filled with intelligence. Christian's loyalty was unwavering, and his kindness was felt by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Christian was an esteemed serviceman in the US Navy for six years and was known for his dedication and commitment. His hobbies included gaming, soccer, and cooking, but he was most passionate about spending time with his family and friends. Christian was also the head of his sign language class in high school and made several videos that made it to YouTube.
He lived in Tampa, Florida, and South Bend, Indiana but carried the warmth of his love wherever he went. Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation. Christian's family and friends will never forget the loving and caring person he was. Christian was a loving son, brother, uncle, and cousin.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Gammage, his brothers Jovan Walker, Jordan Walker, and Thomas Gammage, his aunts America Del Toro, Melinda Jones, Sherry Harris, and Claudia Negron, his uncles Tony Gammage, Nyling Gammage, and Angel Chacon his grandmother Lyndian Chacon, his nieces Melody Walker, Cousins Terrell, Anthony, and Asia, Nylon, Nico, Dontrell, and Tyra Gammage, Tatianna Del Toro, George Montalvo, Isabella, Francisco, and Angel Chacon. Along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Christian had a very special person in his life who had an special impact on his life Mrs. Helen Sanders. Christian was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Gammage, Sr.
In keeping with Christian's loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate life so that others may live.
